The 2017 55+ BC Games generated an estimated $3.3 million economic impact for the host communities, according to an economic impact study released on March 26, 2018.

2017 Vernon & Area Torch Lighting Ceremony

The torch lighting ceremony marks 100 days until the start of the 2017 55+ BC Games. This event will take place June 17 at 3 pm on 30th Avenue in Downtown Vernon.

2017 Participant Accreditation

Participants’ Accreditation will take place at the Vernon Recreation Centre located at 3310 – 37 Avenue, Vernon.  All participants for the Vernon & Area 2017 55+ BC Games must attend to Accreditation at one of the following times: Tuesday, September 12 from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, September 13 from 10 am to 5 pm.
