At the recent Annual General Meeting for BC Seniors Games Society, Paul Kingan, who has been acting as interim President for the past few months was acclaimed as President moving forward.
“The 55+ BC Games is an important part in the sport for life cycle,” said Kingan. “I am proud to lead this organization as we prioritize healthy living and create opportunities for the 55+ demographic to actively participate.”
Working alongside Kingan will be Bob Hesketh who was voted in as Vice President.
“I am happy to continue to dedicate my expertise with the BC Seniors Games Society,” added Hesketh. “It is an organization of committed and dedicated volunteers who believe in the power of sport to create healthier individuals.”
The Board of Directors met at the end of September putting together a new strategic plan that will guide the organization for the next five years. The plan will be shared with members in the coming months.
