55+ Try a Sport Events in Salmon Arm
When: Starting in May, every week for 4 weeks, one day per week
Sports: Cribbage, lawn bowling, tennis, horseshoes and triathlon

2024 Program
Step up your Game
The Step up your Game program offers an opportunity for 55+ participants to receive high quality instruction from qualified coaches in a supportive setting.
The objective of this program is to provide an opportunity for participants to improve their skills in their preferred sport being offered in the 55+ BC Games. Zone volunteers coordinate events in their local community and work with local sport organizations to secure qualified coaches.

Clinic 1 - 10am to 1pm and Clinic 2 – 1pm to 4pm - Coaching by and under the direction of Luba Sadovska, Coach of the MLTT Seattle Spinners, and ITTF PTT Level 1 Certified Intro into Competition Base/Advanced Coach, Competition Development Coach TTCAN Master Coach Developer, Learning Facilitator and Coach Evaluator.
Participation: Free for members of the BC Games Society – Membership form HERE . The annual fee of $20 may be paid in one of two ways:
- E-TRANSFER to Zone 4 BCSGS; Email address bcsgszone4@gmail.com. Please include name & sport in message area).
- MAIL cheque made payable to BCSGS – Zone 4 (BC Seniors Games Society) mail to: Zone 4 BCSGS, 7625 Ulster Street Burnaby, BC V5E 2G1 (please note sport in the memo section).
This same form may be used to register to participate in the Salmon Arm 2024 55+ BC Games September 10-14. You will receive an email directly from our database confirming your membership once your payment is confirmed.
Pre-registration is required. Contact Mike Dumler at: zone4dir@55plusbcgames.org or 604-340-6774, to pre-register for either or both clinics (if spots are available). Note: maximum of 16 players per clinic in order of pre-registration.

Past Program
“Give it a Try!”
The “Give it a Try!” program offers and opportunity for members of the community to come together through sport to learn more about the 55+ BC Games as well as the services and programs offered at their local community centre.
The objective of this program is to provide an opportunity for anyone over the age of 55 with an opportunity to try a new sport currently being offered in the 55+ BC Games. BC Seniors Games Society Zone volunteers partner with BC Recreation and Parks Association(BCRPA) members in communities throughout the province to offer a variety of sport clinics at the local community centres.
