Types of Registration & Fees

A participant is someone who is competing at the Games.

Dragon boat racing – team captains, steer persons and drummers are required to register as participants.
Equestrian – navigators are required to register as volunteers.
Slo-pitch, soccer and hockey – non-playing managers and coaches are required to register as supporters.

Participants must be members of BC Seniors Games Society.

A supporter is a person who will be attending the Games but is NOT competing in an event.   As a registered supporter you have full access to all the special events, all competitions and the Games transportation system.

Each participant pays a sport fee in addition to a registration fee.  All sport fees collected go towards staging the competition, including covering the cost of venues and officials.

  • Sport Coordinators for 8-ball, bocce, bridge, floor curling, lawn bowling.
  • Area 2 Representative (Nanoose Bay to Bowser) – area representatives are responsible for promoting the Games in their area including the distribution of posters and brochures and writing appropriate news articles for publication in local newspapers.  Area reps are expected to attend monthly Zone 2 Executive & Committee Zoom meetings.
