Registration Extended to July 15

We are counting down the days to the close of registration and we’re hoping there are a few last-minute deciders who are still sitting on the fence wondering “should I stay or should I go”?

there are a multitude of reasons why you should go to the Games, not the least of which is the time and effort the Host Society has dedicated to ensure that the Victoria Games will have a great line up of events for the participants and supporters to enjoy.  The Opening Ceremony they have planned will be a show like you have not seen before; the Thursday Night on the Town and the Friday Rock the Roundhouse will ensure that visitors to Greater Victoria will set key benchmarks for the participants.

“I ask for your support in doing everything possible to increase participation and then get to enjoy the social activities Victoria has planned for our Games,” says 2022 Greater Victoria Host Society president, Michael O’Connor, “A guaranteed great time is planned for everybody.”

Paul Kingan, president of the BC Seniors Games Society agrees.  “None of our sports are at full capacity right now.  Our team sports such as soccer, slo-pitch and dragon boating need more teams in order for Greater Victoria to host a truly meaningful competitive Games.

Paul continues.  “Consider competing in track and field or swimming, and make life long friends while you’re at it!”

Registration has been extended to July 15 so if you haven’t booked vacation time yet, now’s the time to take in fun competition and entertaining social events.  Come to Victoria. The volunteers are ready to host you.
