8-Ball

8-Ball in the 55+ BC Games is a two day competition set up as a round robin tournament. 8-Ball is played on a 4′ X 8′ table.

AGE CATEGORIES & EVENTS – refer to the Rules & Technical Information

VENUE – James Street Game Room, 77 Victoria Crescent, Nanaimo

QUALIFYING – not required, each zone can send unlimited number of participants

REGISTRATION FEE – $130 (includes $20 membership, $10 sport fee, $100 participant fee)

DAY OF COMPETITION – Participants must accredit on Tuesday, Sept 9; competition takes place Wednesday & Thursday, Sept 10 & 11

Zone 2 – Vancouver Island North
Zone 3 – Fraser Valley
Zone 4 – Lower Mainland
Zone 5 – Okanagan-Similkameen
Zone 6 – West Kootenay Boundary
Zone 7 – East Kootenay
Zone 8 – South Central
Zone 9 – North Central
Zone 10 – North West
Zone 11 – Bulkley Valley-Lakes-Nechako
Zone 12 – Peace River-Liard

8-ball was not held in the 2024 55+ BC Games
